Hello and Welcome!

Welcome back to Easlo's newsletter. Every week, I curate actionable tips to help supercharge your productivity and growth.

Today's Focus: 3 Tips to Ensure Consistency in 2024

Tip #1: Start small.

James Clear, the author of Atomic Habits, suggests that if you want to make big changes, you should start small.

He recommends breaking down our habits into small actions that only take 2 minutes.

If you wish to read more, start with just 2 minutes.

Instead of forcing yourself to build a new habit, make it easy and comfortable to do it daily.

Tip #2: Put some skin in the game.

Suppose you want to start running again.

You could find a running buddy or join a running club. This adds a layer of responsibility, as missing a session could mean losing face in front of the group.

This method can be applied to other goals by finding an accountability partner or joining a group with similar goals.

Tip #3: Choose to get back on track.

It's perfectly normal to miss a day, but don't view that as the end just because you've broken your streak.

All of your previous efforts matter, as they serve as evidence of your new identity.

Most importantly, know that you can get back on track from where you are.

Over time, you will accumulate a stack of evidence that will make maintaining consistency easier.

My favorite browser Arc just launched their mobile app called "Arc Search."

This AI powered browsing experience aims to make searching for what you need faster.

“You only get one mind, and you only get one body. And it’s got to last a lifetime.”

Steven Bartlett in The Diary of a CEO

This quote is a reminder that our health is our foundation.

It's easy to think we should work hard now so we can enjoy life later.

But what is there to enjoy later without good health?

I hope you enjoyed this issue, and I will talk to you soon next week.
